About this service

Cosmetic bonding at DiBella Dental Care

Cosmetic bonding uses a tooth-colored resin, shaped by hand and hardened with a special light, to repair chips, close small gaps, and improve the shape of individual teeth. It is one of the most conservative cosmetic treatments available.

Because little or no natural tooth structure is removed, bonding is often completed in a single visit without anesthesia. Whether bonding or another option better fits a particular tooth depends on your individual evaluation.

How it works

What to expect

  1. Shade matching

The resin is matched to your natural tooth color so the repair blends in.

  2. Sculpting the resin

The surface is gently prepared, and the resin is applied and sculpted into the ideal shape.

  3. Curing and polish

A curing light hardens the material, which is then polished until it shines like natural enamel.
